Learning Safari in Milledgeville, GA is dedicated to providing first-rate care for young children. We offer a variety of child development programs that are tailored to specific age groups, including infant care, preschool, Pre-K and after-school care for school-age children. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you can count on us to provide flexible day care for your children when you need it.

We are open from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for your convenience.

We have a minimum class-to-caregiver ratio at our child care center so that each child is given the maximum amount of attention and care they need.

Our Directors

Lisa Frashier – Director

With 28 years of experience in childcare and a year and a half at Learning Safari, Lisa Frashier is dedicated to mentoring and guiding teachers to create meaningful early learning experiences for children. Based in Milledgeville, she is a proud mother of two and shares her home with six beloved dogs. When she’s not shaping young minds, Lisa enjoys watching football and listening to gospel music. She’s a fan of the movie The Forge and has a unique love for French fries, pickles, and steaks!

Abby Alford - Assistant Director

With eight years of experience at Learning Safari, Abby Alford is passionate about building meaningful connections with children and their families. Based in Milledgeville, she is a devoted mom to her 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Olivia, and a proud pet parent to her dog, Medusa. In her free time, Abby enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. A fan of all music genres, she especially loves thriller and suspense films. When it comes to food, sushi and pizza are her top picks!

I have nothing but good things to say about Learning Safari, they have been so wonderful. The teachers truly care about the kids, everyone in the school knows my son’s name and they say hi to him every time we pass by. We’re even in the final stages on potty training and the teachers have been so great with helping encourage my son.
I feel blessed to know that when I drop my child off for school he is going to be looked after and cared for by people who truly care for him.

We love learning safari! Don’t know what we’d do without them!

I love learning safari ! My baby’s face lights up in the mornings when I drop her off for school. Mrs. Lisa and the staff are always so good to my baby *even tho she flicks everyone off lol*. I feel like the teachers in the afternoon don’t get enough credit so I just want to give a big thank you to her afternoon teacher. Sometimes she can get fussy but you’re so patient with her❤️.! Thank y’all again for everything y’all do🫶🏻!

Learning safari is a great school for kids! They have an awesome Director Ms Lisa whom my children love and adore! She has a great staff and she is the BEST director! When you enter she welcomes you and your kids with open arms and she goes above and beyond at her job!
